Farmington Flames Softball program is for girls ages 6 - 18. We are a recreational program, all are welcome and everyone plays. There are NO TRYOUTS and ALL skill levels are welcome. Teams generally consist of a head coach, an assistant coach, and 10 - 12 players. This will vary from year to year. Coaches will practice at least once a week with possible a possible second where fields are available until games begin. We begin play at 8U and run through High School.Farmington Softball ages 6 - 18 play in the in the Windmill Fastpitch South Central Wisconsin league. There is a end of year tournament typically the first week in August.

The teams are usually refered to as 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U and so on. The U simply means under. In order be eligible for a team you need to fit that age requirement.

So for example to play on an 8U Team you need to be 8 years old or younger at the start of the season. Your child can not play on an 8U Team if your child is 9 before the season begins she would then move to 10U (ages 10 and Under).

Softball is played on the same evening every week. For example 14U plays every Thursday.
