Farmington ballpark is owned, run and maintained by volunteer efforts alone. Our concession stand plays a huge part in raising funds to make facility improvements, purchase uniforms & equipment, and maintain the fields.
In an effort to “share the load”, we ask every family to work at least home games in the concession stand. If you have more than one child playing, we ask that your family work home games for EACH child playing. Our easy sign up program allows families to choose the most convenient nights for their busy schedule.
If working in the concession stand will not work for your family, there are also choices to sign-up for dumping park garbage cans into the dumpster, cleaning bathrooms, grounds crew, working fundraisers and more!
Go to the sign up and choose your night(s) to work. Once all the “open” slots for a given home game are filled, you must choose a different night. The site will also send an email reminder to you two days before the work date you signed up for!
For safety reasons, we do not allow children in the concession stand
If you are new to Farmington ballpark – never fear! For the most part, there is always a “veteran” around to help out. Kari, Jamie and Tanya are more than willing to take anyone on a concession stand tour!! All coaches have keys and will open the stand, bathrooms & turn “on” the water. When our work schedules allow, Kari, Jamie or Tanya try to help open up and get folks started. Washing nescos and wiping up after the game is probably the most important part so plan on stay a little after the game on your scheduled home game.
Ask about “service credit” opportunities for high school students for school, church, 4-H, etc.
We rely on everyone help to make the concessions stand run smoothly. We hope that by allowing families to pick their own dates, we will have 100% participation. We are truly trying to avoid assigning dates or charging an extra fee to those who do not contribute. Thank you for your support of the Farmington ballpark!
