WELCOME 2023 SEASON!

Welcome to Farmington Ballpark!!

We look forward to another great season of youth baseball and softball.  We are so glad to have our returning families back as well as new families joining us!

Our sign-up registration is now closed and teams/coaches are being organized.  Schedules for games will be worked on in April but it does take a while to coordinate with the communities we play against. Coaches will reach out to the players a bit later with info on practices/schedules – please be patient.  Uniforms (shirts/hats) are in the process of being ordered.

As most of you know, Farmington ballpark is owned, run, and maintained by volunteer efforts alone.  Our concession stand plays a huge part in raising funds to make facility improvements, purchase uniforms & equipment, and maintain the fields.

In an effort to “share the load”, we ask every family to work at least 4 shifts/duties. Our easy Sign-Up Genius program allows families to CHOOSE the most convenient nights or weekends for their busy schedule.  If working in the concession stand is not a good fit for your family, there are many other ways to sign-up and help including: dumping park garbage cans into the dumpster, concession committee (picking up assigned products for the stand), cleaning bathrooms/cardboard disposal, or helping at other events during the season. The main Sign-Up Genius for the ballpark games/events will be out sometime in May.

If you are new to Farmington ballpark – never fear!  For the most part, there is always a “veteran” around to help out.  Our concession coordinators, Kari,, Melissa and Tanya are more than willing to take anyone on a concession stand tour!!

Please ask about “service credit” opportunities for high school students for school, church, 4-H, etc.!

HELP OUT!

Many hands make light work……we ask that EVERY family participate!  We want the concession stand to be open for ALL home games, the park to look beautiful, and the ballpark to run smoothly the entire season. That is why we NEED YOUR HELP! By signing up for your shifts, your $150 volunteer fee will be returned to you after you complete your 4 shifts.

Ballpark Communications will mainly be through email…..if there are add’l email addresses you would like to be added please reply to this email.
